About the Role:
The Tax Compliance Analyst role is a great opportunity to join the Taxation team to assist with Woodside’s Australian and International tax compliance activities. You will work closely with various finance teams to deliver timely and accurate tax reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Preparation of foreign VAT returns
- Preparation of Withholding Tax returns
- Assistance with Fringe Benefits Tax return
- Preparation of tax account reconciliations and clearing
- Support and operate tax automations and analytics
- Support Regulator information requests and audits
- Support other tax compliance and project activities as necessary
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience:
- Professional qualification in a relevant field (e.g. accounting, finance or similar)
- Demonstrated experience in tax compliance
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Genuine team player, with strong interpersonal skills
- High proficiency in Excel, with Power BI skills advantageous
- A working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP is required
- Automation and analytics software experience advantageous
