As part of our ongoing transformation to deliver “Stores of the Future” we are looking for strong, innovative and resilient Leaders, considered experts in their field to drive change and influence the future. We are working hard to ensure our store estate is fit for the future, by trialling different concepts and opening new stores – our plan is to open c.75 stores over the next 3 years that will offer our customers a new and innovative shopping experience, whilst maintaining the traditional M&S values our customers love.

Our Team Managers are responsible for leading 92% of our colleague population. As a Team Manager you are an integral cog within the in-store Management Team. Your role is to help our people be the best that they can be and to assist in driving sales, commerciality and service standards within your store.

One of the requirements for our Team Managers is flexibility to work across various departments including Food, Hospitality, Clothing & Home and Operations… but in return it will provide you with a strong grounding across all elements of our business and therefore support with career progression in the future.

Farnham SF – due to open in early July, based in the small market town of Farnham, to the North East of the region, as part of the Barolli Mall development to be based at the far end of the town centre. An affluent area that will generate an abundance of trading opportunities and growing footfall to retain regular customers to our new store, with massive potential to beat all expectations.

About the store:

Farnham SF is set to be an incredibly exciting 10,900 sq ft new addition to Home Counties South, CER indicates strong potential growth over the first 5 years of trade. Positioned adjacent to Sainsburys, in a mixed use development with 21 retail units and 7 A3 units plus a multiplex for Odeon and approx 250 residential units. There will be car parking below the cinema/ residential block, and the existing Sainsburys car park will be upgraded so that there will be approx 400 public spaces.
