Mission
Be the daily Valeo contact of wholesalers and garages for technical-commercial training, to resolve product issues, delivery and services of Valeo tooling in order to enhance the Valeo image of service organization.
Responsibilites
TRAINING
Develop training material in order to spread knowledge about Valeo products and services and give professional training sessions to Valeo sales reps, distributors, wholesalers and garages via webinars and presentations.
Build a strong relationship with the Valeo Service UK sales team and the distributors in order to know what the wholesalers and garages needs are and offer support where required. Develop an activity plan indicating the focus each month including the type of training required, the purpose of the training, the length and time.
Develop and maintain a network of people responsible for training and technical problem solving in other divisions and at head office and participate in benchmarking activities. Sharing best practices.
Participate in, and produce training material for Valeo’s live and on demand webinars. Aimed at automotive professionals of all types including technician’s, workshop owners and fitters, students and general car enthusiasts, produce content covering the latest Valeo technology designed for OE and Aftermarket use, best fitment practices, and how to avoid warranty issues and second fitments.
Efficiently plan service visits in order to maintain and repair aircon equipment and conform service contract obligations with customers
PRODUCTION OF TECHNICAL LITERATURE
Manage the language of the training materials and adapt them to the local language with assistance from the internal Valeo network.
Utilising internal contacts with the Valeo Service UK Technical and Warranty team, create Technical Service Bulletins in order to aid fitters in installing Valeo products and help distributors understand common fitment issues.
Create technical write ups on Valeo’s products and services to increase the customers understanding.
Work with the Digital Communications Team to ensure Technical Literature is distributed to internal and external contacts.
Promote the Valeo Loyalty Scheme.

Support the Technical Hotline in answering customer queries
Offer a professional, quick and cost efficient solution for technical problems with Valeo products and equipment
