Dow has two challenging openings for Turnaround Lead Coordinator in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.
The Turnaround Lead Coordinator is a self-starter who thrives within the boundaries of an empowered team to provide continuity and coordination for turnaround maintenance activity across the site using Dow’s Global Turnaround Methodology. The purpose of this job is to optimize turnaround maintenance coordination by ensuring that Dow Work Processes are followed for planning, scheduling, safe execution and final closeout of the turnaround to meet the Business and Maintenance strategy for duration, budget, and operational reliability in order to minimize the long-term cost of ownership of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Work effectively with operations to:
- Define job scopes
- Develop work inventory, detailed job plans and cost estimates
- Develop integrated turnaround schedule and ensure schedule logic is accurate
- Drive Schedules toward minimum duration
Work effectively with site and contract personnel to:
- Ensure all appropriate resources are committed
- Ensure pre and post work is completed
- Execute maintenance portion of the turnaround
- Progress all turnaround activities including operations and capital
- Control add-ons during the turnaround
- Complete the turnaround within budget
- Ensure job plans are archived for future use
- Support Dow Global Turnaround Methodology
- Serve as a member of the Core TA (Turnaround) Team for each scheduled TA and helps to ensure that all aspects of the Dow Global Turnaround Work Processes (GTWP) are followed with implementation of new software (Platinum)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of MBO 4 with technical education or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other technical education.
- 2 or more years of experience in a Turnaround Coordinator (within a manufacturing, industrial or similar environment) or Maintenance Coordinator (within a manufacturing, industrial or similar environment) role.
- 5 or more years of experience with daily turnaround or maintenance job planning and execution.
- Previous experience working in SAP and Primavera is preferred.
