Section A – Specific Responsibilities
- Duties generally include, but are not limited to the following:
- Filling of all customer orders.
- Maintain shelves and flow racks in a clean and orderly state.
- Check for damaged or misplaced stock and place in designated holding totes.
- Ensures Good Manufacturing Practices are maintained and adhered with the Distribution Centre as per Health Canada regulations.
- Performs all tasks within the scope of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to the job function.
- Other duties as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Section B – General Responsibilities
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are respected.
- Communicate with supervisors and Regulatory Officer of any deviations that occur concerning established procedures and opportunities for improvements.
- Assure that work areas are kept safe, organized and clean.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety policies.
Section C – Position Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is an asset.
- Clear CPIC (Canadian Police Information Center) check.
- 1-2 years of experience using a forklift, reach truck, order picker, or other power industrial equipment would be an asset.
- Experience in a distribution center/warehouse/manufacture environment is an asset.
- Basic math and reading skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to be a team player and work in a team environment.
- Strong focus of Customer Service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to challenge processes and seek out process improvements or creative ways of completing tasks.
- Must be familiar and able to work with computers and automation.
- Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds independently and greater weights in a team-lift environment.
- Physical requirements include: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time.
- Reliable and punctual and willing to work various shifts.
- Exhibit flexibility/adaptability.
- Behaviours aligned with McKesson Canada ICARE principles and values.
