Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC has an immediate opportunity for a Water Coordinator, located in Horseheads, NY.  The position will support Repsol’s Marcellus Business Unit (MBU).  The Water Coordinator will assist in the development of Water Management Plans to efficiently supply water to all necessary functions to support development and operation of the asset.  The Water Coordinator will oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of all temporary and permanent water infrastructure to ensure contractors are following Repsol’s requirements.  The position will also involve multiple computer applications to manage contract PO’s, permitting, inspections, and automation of Repsol’s sites.  The position will be both a field and office position.  The position will report to the Senior Water Supervisor.

Job Description:

  • Supervising contractors for water infrastructure O&M activities.
  • Inspect surface line construction/deconstruction to ensure permit and landowner requirements are followed and land properly restored
  • Complete water transfer and water infrastructure maintenance
  • Complete e-permits to work and review contractor JSA’s.
  • Incident response, reporting and investigation
  • Ensure water Infrastructure (withdrawals, waterlines, and impoundments) is operating properly and able to deliver required volumes for internal use or external sales.
  • Plan, schedule and supervise repairs/preventative/corrective maintenance
  • Operate water transfer automation/pumps
  • Complete Route Assessments and Journey Management Plans for logistics activities.
  • Inspect and Audit contract companies’ adherence to Land Transport policy
  • Complete SAP PO requests and Invoice certification

Minimum Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
  • 1 or more years of contractor management/oversight of temporary/permanent waterline construction projects
  • Preferred to have experience with operating water logistics projects (waterlines, withdrawals, etc.)
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to travel within MBU area to inspect sites and oversee contractors
  • Ability to read construction drawings, permit applications, and mapping
  • Fast learning and adaptability to change
  • Good communication and people skills to work well with employees, landowners, government officials, and contractors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Logistics experience preferred
  • Experience with pipelines, commissioning, operating, pigging and isolation
  • Preferred experience with Water Pumps, diesel and/or electric driven
  • Preferred experience with SAP, SCADA (Cygnet), Energy Components
