Job Description
Position: Wifi Programmer
Responsibilities
Evaluate new hardware platforms and technologies
Perform prototyping-based feasibility and performance analysis of new features
Identify performance bottlenecks in existing features
Work closely with other Software Developers, Quality Engineers, Documentation
Writers and Customer Facing Engineers.
Requirements
Fair understanding of software – from embedded C to application level software
Good understanding of WLAN MAC protocols
Understanding of SOC architecture, operating system internals, compilers and build tools
4-6 years of experience in the relevant space.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Wi-Fi device drivers on Linux
Hands-on experience in working with one or more WIFI chipset platforms
Good RF Knowledge and System Level understanding of the Wireless AP functionality
Familiarity with WLAN analyzer/tools like Wireshark
Experience in developing Wi-Fi features, system integration, evaluate various performance parameters
Qualifications
Strong engineering and Computer Science fundamentals
