Estimator
Roofspace – Alcester

The overall purpose of the Estimator is to prepare and produce quotations for the design, manufacture and installation of the RoofSpace I-Roof. The Estimator is to work alongside both our client’s design team and our own design team / contracts team / production team / sales team to ensure the RoofSpace I-Roof quotations are accurate and profitable
Responsibilites;
- To create quotations and pricing proposals (and where necessary revise as required)
- To liaise with Roofspace design team / contracts team / production team / sales team / external
- To liaise with external suppliers
- To be responsive to on site queries and efficiently solve issues arising from site derived idiosyncrasies
- To be responsive to administrative and in house queries relating to scheduling of materials
- To update the quotation workflow to ensure visibility of projects to other department
- To produce BOQ and update Smartsheet with specifications
- Other duties may be required of you that are not specific to your role
- Ad hock duties as required to meet the needs of the business
- Act as a key point of contact, liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders; delivering excellent customer service.
- Ensure full compliance with Company health, safety, security and environmental standards
Preferred previous experience
- Experience within previous job roles
- Experience of reading / understanding architectural drawing
- Experience of Microsoft Office package (Outlook / Access / Word / Excel predominantly)
- Excellent communicator both internally and externally, written and verbal
- Able to work under own initiative
- Organised and able to manage own workload
